Museums and Collections

The Museum Brandhorst presents works of modern and contemporary art since the 1950s. The Brandhorst Collection comprises over 1,200 works by pioneering artists of the 20th and 21st centuries, including comprehensive and internationally important holdings by the artist Cy Twombly and the main protagonist of Pop Art, Andy Warhol. Sigmar Polke, Bruce Nauman, Louise Lawler, Cady Noland, Laura Owens, Jacqueline Humphries, Monika Baer, Martin Kippenberger, and Jeff Koons are just a few other important positions in the development of contemporary art to be discovered.
