Data protection

Scope of application

This Privacy Policy gives users information about the way, scope and purpose for which your data are collected and used by the responsible provider.

The legal framework for this Privacy Policy is formed by the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Teleservices Act (TMG).

Collection of general information

Every time you access this website, we and/or our webspace provider automatically collect information. This information, also known as server log files, is of a general nature and cannot be used to identify you.

The information collected includes: the name of the website, file, date, data volume, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your internet provider, the referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our website) and the IP address.

Without these data, we would not be able to deliver and display the website content. As such, collection of the data is necessary. We furthermore use this anonymous information for statistical purposes. It helps us to optimise our service and technology. We also reserve the right to check log files retrospectively where we suspect the unlawful use of our website.

Integration of third-party services and content

Our website also contains the content and services of other providers. These may, for instance, be maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube, and graphics and images from other websites. So that these data can be retrieved by and displayed in your browser, your IP address must be transmitted. The providers (hereinafter “third-party providers”) therefore see the IP address of the respective user.

Even though we endeavour to exclusively use third-party providers who only require the IP address in order to deliver content, we have no influence on whether that IP address may be stored. In this instance, this procedure serves statistical purposes, inter alia. Insofar as we are aware that the IP address is being stored, we notify our users accordingly.

In order to integrate videos, we use the services of the provider YouTube. Videos are embedded using enhanced privacy mode. Like most websites, YouTube also uses cookies to collect information about the visitors to its website. YouTube uses this information to record video statistics, to prevent fraud and to improve user-friendliness. It also leads to a link being created with the Google DoubleClick network. When you launch the video, this may trigger further data processing processes. We have no influence on these. Further information about privacy at YouTube is contained in its Privacy Policy:
