M. Arch. (Architecture) & M.A. (Visual Communication)

Alexandra Mümmler works for Wavelab, the innovation lab at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, where she is in charge of the coordination with the University of Television and Film (CreatiF-Center). She also does voluntary work for a parent-child initiative. She raves about the diverse architecture in the Kunstareal and the greens south of the Alte Pinakothek, which is not only a wonderful place to end a museum visit. During her 5 years working in an architectural office, she dealt with conceptual and practical architecture, spatial design and exhibition design. This is complemented by her experience in artistic practice. The perception of the Kunstareal as a unit is a particular concern of hers.

Alexandra Mümmler

Cultural economist

Alexandra Forciniti's heart beats digitally. The cultural communication expert is interested in future trends: from social media to the metaverse. The Kunstareal is a second home for her. She is particularly enthusiastic about the hidden places far away from the large crowds. She particularly likes the atriums in the Abgussmuseum, the study hall of the Graphische Sammlung and the X-D-E-P-O-T in the Pinakothek der Moderne. She regularly immerses herself in 5,000 years of cultural history with her young son. It is important to her that the Kunstareal is perceived as a whole and that better orientation is established in the public space, as she is convinced that this will increase the quality of the visit.
