Münchner

Freiheit

The traditional Café Münchner Freiheit became famous through Helmut Fischer alias "Monaco Franze" in the TV series of the same name. The popular Munich actor often sat in the café garden and enjoyed his Black Forest sundae. In 1966, Karl Eisenrieder, as a young master confectioner, founded the first café in the heart of Schwabing, which has become a real institution in Munich. With the active support of his wife Lieselotte and his sons Charly and Max Eisenrieder, other cafés soon followed. Café Münchner Freiheit prepares a wide variety of delicacies, cake creations and ice cream specialties fresh every day. Quality is the top priority.
