Welcome to the Kunstareal – a place full of diversity and vitality! The Kunstareal has a different meaning for each individual: people live, study, and work here. Others come to visit the museums, play sports, dance, shop at the weekly market, and much more.
Our poster competition aims to reflect this diversity. As part of an open call, we invited all creative minds to translate their connection and personal associations with the Kunstareal into a unique poster design.
There are two prizes to be won: the jury prize and the audience prize, each worth €2,500. The winning motif of the jury prize will be printed in a run of 1,000 copies. We will announce shortly which motifs won the race.
A big thank you goes to Münchner Bank, which is providing the prize money for the jury prize, and to Förderkreis Kunstareal, which is providing the prize money for the audience prize.
Our goal is to repeat this competition annually and thus celebrate the diversity of the Kunstareal again and again. So if you missed it this year, the next opportunity to participate will be in 2026.
