Welcome to the Kunstareal—a place full of diversity and vitality! People live, study, and work here. Others come to visit the museums, play sports, or shop at the weekly market. It is precisely this diversity that is reflected in our annual poster competition. As part of an open call, we invite creative minds to translate their personal associations with the Kunstareal into a unique poster design. Every year, there are two prizes to be won: the jury prize and the audience prize, each worth €2,500. A big thank you goes to Münchner Bank eG and Förderkreis Kunstareal, which have been sponsoring the prize money since 2024. The winning motif of the jury prize will be printed in a limited edition of 1,000 copies.
