bayern design

bayern design is the international competence center for design in Bavaria. The organization connects creatives, companies, policymakers, and the public, promoting design as a driver of economic, social, and sustainable transformation. Through events such as the Munich Design Week (mcbw), the Social Design Days in Nuremberg, and other projects, bayern design fosters design culture, knowledge exchange, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Its mission is to strengthen design as a key factor for innovation, quality of life, and a resource-conscious future. bayern design is supported by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, as well as the sponsoring association bayern design forum e.V., which brings together companies, design agencies, universities, and chambers of commerce.
